  Finding Someone From a Long Time Ago

  ok, say someone was trying to find someone they once knew.

  what advice would you give them?

  its a woman who's since gotten married and divorced since the last time you talked to them back in the early/mid 90's and has also had a kid.

  Ok, say someone was trying to find someone they once knew. What advice would you give them? Its a woman who's since gotten married and divorced since the last time you talked to them back in the early/mid 90's and has also had a kid. Previous address (ownership was not in her name) and maiden name is known but that's about it. Approximate time frame for divorce as well as child was born are known. All the Classmates.com type sites have been checked with negative results and she's not in the phonebook or anything like that, at least with her maiden name (married name is unknown and she probably kept it unless she got married again). If it helps all this is in Indiana.

  Computer Graphics Question - Flash MX

  i'm hoping someone will be able to help me.

  yeah yeah, i'm perfect and should know everything but i just haven't been paying much attention with macromedia flash mx.. i've imported two images (.jpg's) to the stage and am wanting to do a nice fade between the two.

  i can do a kind of sloppy one if i change the brightness or tint to match the background and then tween to it.

  Hi everyone. I'm hoping someone will be able to help me. Yeah yeah, I'm perfect and should know everything but I just haven't been paying much attention with Macromedia Flash MX.

  I've imported two images (.jpg's) to the stage and am wanting to do a nice fade between the two. I can do a kind of sloppy one if I change the brightness or tint to match the background and then tween to it. Only problem is as one is going out and the other is coming in the outline of one picture is always over the other one and I'm wanting both images to show equally in the area where they over lap. I guess my big question is how can I change the opacity of various layers to make the various layers fade in and out.

  Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!!!!

  well according to my mum anyway.

  she came home from a meeting a few months back, looked at me and with a slightly manic laugh declared "you are the antichrist!".

  i of course was shocked and ran to the bathroom to check my freshly shaven head for any marks etc but found nothing.

  You're nowhere near the last days. You've still got millions of years until the end of mankind. Despite whatever little things that may be horrible for you folks now or how much you may over react things aren't as bad as they have been in the past nor as bad as they will get when the sun dies out. Besides, in the bible doesn't it say that no matter how hard idiots may try they'd never be able to guess when the world's going to end?
  Not only that but by your own reasoning the end is nowhere near in sight. You're going on about how the end must near because of how horrible people THINK the world is. The world is supposed to end only when people are crying "Peace and security." You yourself talked about how even though life isn't as bad as it has been in the past people are acting like its worse now and how they're afraid to leave the house. Hardly sounds like they're calling out peace and security does it? You yourself, are arguing about how the end of the world isn't even near. So hey, don't worry about the world ending, get comfortable, because we're all going to be here for a while.

  Apparently you didn't read this the last time so once again..........

  Hey Aguest, did you ever read that bit in the bible about "Don't use god's name in vain?" Quite a few people think that just means don't say "God damn" but then again, quite a few people are idiots. It also means don't read the bible, attempt to read between the lines and find the deeper secrets of the bible that we NEVER put in there, and then push your ideas off as coming from dad. What you're doing when you do that is taking your own words and ideas and saying that they're god's; basically you're using dad's name in vain.

  think of all those millions, even billions that are tied up in brooklyn bethal , in shares, in banks, assembly hall and kingdom halls.. where would the money legaly have to go?.

  Do you still read societys literature?

  i still got my insight books,bible,song book,revelation book,isiahia book,some tracts,awakes @watchtowers.

  i did throw a lot of my magz away but still got these,what shall i do keep them,sell them to second hand book store,give to charity shop,or read them all again and brainwash myself with jw ideology.

  Its not really low or anything like that. Let me try to put it the way I see it.
  I stop a cult from spreading any further or causing any more damage by cutting off its life line while simulataneously receiving the funding needed to buy my DeLorean. Would I feel bad about bringing down the JW's? No f'ing way. Not only that but I want a freakin DeLorean!!!!

  Would you condone abortion?

  today i questioned my mother about the fact that she told me ?

  yrs ago how she lost 2 kids through a miscarriage but then later told me she aborted them,well i didnt know what to say, but then later questioned her about this i asked her why she did it, she told me that she was already bringing up me and my sister and financialy impossible to look after two more kids,well i didnt agree with that reason or any reason to kill the unborn she then said she wasnt in the truth then "huh what difference does that make".

  then she gave an illustration of reasons when you should condone abortion and it goes like this, if you were raped and later found out you were pregnant what would you do she seemed to say she would abort it,i said i wouldnt if that happened to my wife i said i would probably end up having it adopted,after all its better than murder.. how has this affected my familys view on abortion i wonder, well i have 5 sisters and 1 more brother,and already my brother in cold blood made his girlfriend abort hers due to the inconvienience,and also my older sister had hers aborted 2 yrs ago because the father didnt want to know with out a hint of regret,so im now starting to see a pattern in my family,whos to blame them or my mother as a role model.. so to cut a long story short do you think killing an unborn child is murder,would you do it under certain scenarios.

  Screw the moral high ground, all the stuff I could buy with that money would sooth my conscience. Not only that but what else are they going to spend the money on? Building new Kingdom Halls? Spreading their BS even more? Defending themselves in court so that they can kill more children from lack of blood? Hey, if I had the chance to make my life considerably better while doing what I can to stop some cult that's just evil you can bet I'd take everything I possibly could. They're the ones always talking about spiritual warfare and steeling the enemey's ammunition is part of war. I'd let them deal with not being able to expand their ministry while driving my new DeLorean around some Mexican beaches for a while.
